It's pretty simple, as far as cancellation policies go!
Any short-term booking can be cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours before the booking is due to start. That means all bookings made to start within the next 24h are non-refundable.
Cancelling a booking inline with this policy couldn't be easier!
- Within your Driver account select the booking you no longer need
- Click "manage booking"
- Scroll down to roughly halfway down the page until you see the big red "cancel" button
- Choose a reason you need to cancel followed by "cancel booking"
- Your refund is automatically issued, which typically hits your account within 5-10 days
You can cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the start time and receive a full refund. Please login to your account to manage your upcoming bookings.
If your booking was made to start within 24 hours of reserving the space, or your refund request is submitted after the start time of your booking, the booking will be non-refundable.
On the rare occasion that you arrive and your booked parking space isn't as advertised or there is an issue including availability that results in you being unable to use the parking space, YourParkingSpace will provide a full refund. Please contact our support team within 48 hours of the booking start time to open a refund case. Get in touch here.

Your vehicle registration number is provided to the Space Owner once your booking is processed and confirmed to ensure you are easily identified when parking. Your vehicle registration is also provided to on-site enforcement which ensures that you are not mistakenly issued with a PCN. Your registration details are also crucial for our commercial sites which use Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology to identify you as a pre-paid customer and allows for a seamless entry and exit.
If you are unsure of your vehicle registration at the time of booking, it's no problem. Simply select "don't know my vehicle registration" to complete the booking and reserve your space. This information will need to be updated prior to your parking and can be updated by logging into your account and amending your booking details. Alternatively, you can let us know your updated registration details here.
YourParkingSpace will not be liable for any PCN's that may be issued as a result of incorrect or incomplete registration details provided by the driver on a booking.
Most Space Owners do not require your confirmation email to be printed as Booking Confirmation emails are sent to both you and the Space Owner, alerting both parties to the new booking. You are also able to access your booking details via the YourParkingSpace app at any time for easy reference.
If a printout is required it will be clearly stated in your post-booking instructions found in your Booking Confirmation email.
In 90% of cases, there is no requirement to print out your booking confirmation.
Not at all. The price shown on our website is the price you will be required to pay to book the parking space. There are no hidden costs or additional fees to pay on the day unless you use the parking space outside of your booked days/times.

Unless otherwise specified in your post-booking instructions (found in your Booking Confirmation email), you can come and go as you please within the time frame of your booking.

You are able to amend your start and end dates/times via your Driver account.
Simply click "Manage Booking" and under the Start date & time section, select the green text "Change date & time". Amend your date and time accordingly.
To extend your booking using the web, log in to your account and locate the booking you want to amend under the 'Active Bookings' tab. Click 'Manage Booking' and you'll find options to Change date & time under the booked times that have already been confirmed.
Alternatively, if you're using the free YourParkingSpace app for iOS or Android, Find your active booking located in the 'My Bookings' tab of the app and click on the booking to reveal details and further options. Scroll to the bottom to find the option to 'Change Dates And Times'. Click here to amend your booking.
Do note, we might not always be able to process your request to amend dates and times on confirmed bookings due to the availability of the space. If you experience any issues with amending bookings, please reach out to our support team here and we'll do our best to accommodate you or, if necessary, find you a nearby alternative with suitable availability.
Space Owners manage their parking space listings and provide availability information to YourParkingSpace. Once you book a parking space through our platform it is instantly reserved for the duration of your booking.
Please ensure you follow any post-booking instructions provided in your Booking Confirmation email as there will be additional details on how to find and access the parking space.
In the unlikely event that there is an issue with the parking space that you have booked, you are protected by our Booking Guarantee. Contact us here to have our support team relocate your booking for no additional cost or opt for a full refund.

A QR code is similar to a barcode - it is unique to you and allows you to enter and exit a car park easily by scanning the QR code at the entrance and exit.
Only a small selection of car parks use QR codes for entry and exit. For those that do, you'll be provided with the QR code in your account after booking. If the QR code provided doesn't work, please press the assistance button on the intercom and state that you are a YourParkingSpace customer and your code is not working.
Short-term parking is any booking made for parking which lasts between one hour and one month.
